Quick Update...

Popping in real quick to share my latest finish...
The pattern is from the Elfin Forest on Etsy.  I stitched it on a 28 count, mystery linen, using all the called for DMC.  I do have a few beads to add, but I will do that, once I decide how I am going to fully finish it.

Also, Nancy at Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe has put up her final Christmas in July giveaway and it is awesome!

Happy July...

Hope everyone had a wonderful June, filled with lots stitching.

It has been a bit of a crazy couple weeks, but I do have some progress to share...

First up, Indigo Lane...
Pattern is by Brenda Gervias

Next, I worked a mermaid pattern from The Elfin Forest on Etsy...
Really enjoying this piece!  Stitching it a mystery piece of 28 count linen, with all the called for DMC.

Lastly, I finished a punch needle piece...
I designed the pattern myself, but I'm not overly happy with the end result and plan to punch it again with some adjustments.

I also wanted to share that Nancy from Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe is running a Christmas in July giveaway... actually several giveaways...
Her threads are awesome, definitely check out her blog!
Today's giveaway:

Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning and Happy June!
Cannot believe it is the beginning of a new month all ready, the time is really flying by...

I thought I would pop in and share what I have been working on the last few weeks.
I had hoped to spend most of the month of May stitching on the new biscornus that I started for Maynia, but another pattern was calling to me...
...and who am I to resist...lol!

I just had to start Indigo Lane by Brenda Gervias...
...I bought the pattern shortly after it was released at the Nashville market and have been very excited to start stitching it.

I am using all the called for threads, except for one change...
...I decided to use a different color for the grass.

I am stitching it on 28 count Autumn Fields Lugana, that I purchased from Ye Olde Stitchery...

It really has been a joy to stitch, even with a small counting error in the house...
...I am very happy I started the piece and look forward to finishing it.

Other than stitching, I have been busy with some punch needle projects...

Cute, little bee skep from Doodle Dog Primitives on Etsy...

And two adorable, sheep scissor FOBs....
(The pattern is a free clipart image that I downloaded, printed and traced onto my weaver's cloth.)

I recently finished a seasonal sheep from Doodle Dog, as well...
...I will eventually get all four seasons finished.

So, that is a little peek at what I've been working on...
Hope everyone has a terrific week, filled with lots of stitching!

Happy Sunday!

Good Morning!
Thought I would pop back in and show a few of the latest cross stitch projects, that I have been working on...

This is "Patriotic Patchwork", by Stone Street Stitchworks on Etsy...
My hubby actually picked this pattern out and asked me to stitch it for our patriotic wall.
(We have plans of turning a wall in our living room, into a patriotic wall, featuring lots of different cross stitch pieces and a few other cool things we have collected.  I was inspired by Vonna (The Twisted Stitcher) and her amazing patriotic themed room.)

"Love Never Fails", by Barbara Anna Designs...
...absolutely adore stitching this piece, the colors are so pretty and it is a lot of fun to see it come together, as I stitch.

And, a finish...
...variegated Dandelion, by Fuzzy Fox Designs on Etsy...
I love that Rachel has been designing lots of patterns using variegated threads.  I have a nice collection of them, but I never know what to stitch with those flosses.  It is really great to have patterns that are made to use them.

So, that is a small peek at some of the most recent projects I have been working on...
...hope everyone is doing terrific and getting lots of stitchy time!
